Welcome to the Player Membership Section of the North Carolina State Chapter of USA Field Hockey. 

If you’re looking to get started in field hockey or simply want more ways to play, a State Chapter Membership is your best first step. For just $25, you’ll gain access to local opportunities including clinics, training sessions, leagues, and state-run tournaments. It’s the most affordable way to play and learn the game,  be active, and connect with and support your local field hockey community. 

Membership Options for Players 

🌟 North Carolina State Chapter Membership – $25 

• Best for beginners and recreational players of all ages 
• Keeps you included and up to date with field hockey in your state and the nation 
• Includes access to state chapter events, trainings, leagues, and local tournaments 
• Great for youth just starting out, families exploring the sport, and players who want to stay local 
• $10 of your membership goes to support your state chapter 

🏑 National Membership – $60 (Youth) | $30 (Adult)
Ideal for athletes who want to train and compete beyond the state level. 

• Required for participation in national events, such as Regional and National Club Championships, NIT and NIT-Qualifiers or the National Festival 
• Necessary for those looking to participate in Nexus and the Olympic Development Pathway (ODP) 
• Adults who want to play in adult national tournaments, leagues, or events should choose the Adult National Membership at $30
